WMWA Native Roots Display

See what is happening beneath the soil! WMWA's tabletop Native Roots Display provides a hands-on look at the incredible difference between the deep root systems of native plants and turfgrass. It's a great visual tool for teaching students how native plants help absorb water, reduce runoff, and protect water quality. To reserve the display, contact our educator at [email protected].
Whether you're planning a single lesson, a classroom activity, or a deeper dive into water education, WMWA is here to help connect students with the water, land, and ecosystems around them.
